Joe Fernandez founded Klout to measure influence across the social web in early 2008 after spending nearly 3 months with his jaw wired shut and depending completely on social media for communication. Fascinated with how one could now instantly broadcast their questions, opinions and ideas to the people who trust them the most, Joe started Klout to help businesses understand the impact of the individual. Previously Joe provided data solutions to the Real Estate industry as Director of Innovation and Research at OnBoard Informatics. In 2003, Joe cofounded Evalulogix and helped over 5000 school districts meet their special education reporting mandates for compliance with NCLB and IDEA. Joe grew up in Las Vegas and attended University of Miami and Oxford University.

Binh started programming at the age of 13 and started his career as a game programmer, developing console games on the Nintendo 64 and Playstation One. With two titles published, Binh left the videogame industry to become a software consultant and technology evangelist, touring cities to introduce Microsoft's then new .NET platform to developers. Binh then joined a startup to build a large scale online workflow system to process automobile collision claims which was later showcased at Microsoft's Technology Summit. In 2003, Binh co-founded Evalulogix, LLC with Joe Fernandez, a software company that provides online special education management services for schools and districts nationwide. Binh grew up in Orange County, CA and attended the University of California, Irvine.

Rich works for Duration Inc as IT consultant and currently active in Klout development team. Started his career as IT consultant in mid of 2007, Rich has been responsible for managing and developing various projects, primarily using .NET platform. In early 2009, Rich was introduced to the Klout team and has been active developing Klout with Joe and Binh until now. Rich grew up in Indonesia and attended College of Technical University Berlin, Germany in 2003 and The University of Newcastle, Australia (Singapore campus) in 2006.
